A fluted oak-effect vanity with an integrated sintered stone basin

Lave can create a fluted oak-effect vanity paired with our signature integrated sintered stone basin. The combination brings together the warmth of a wood-grain finish, the rhythm of fluted detailing and a calm stone surface, with the overall dimensions and storage planned around your bathroom.

Texture below, a quiet surface above

A vanity occupies a large part of the view in many bathrooms. Its finish can set the tone for the whole room. Fluting introduces a repeated pattern across the cabinet front, creating small changes in light and shadow that give the furniture more depth.

With an oak-effect finish, those lines sit alongside the visual warmth of wood grain. A simple integrated basin above keeps the composition balanced: the cabinetry carries the texture, while the sintered stone basin and top provide a quieter surface.

The result can sit comfortably within a restrained contemporary bathroom or a softer, Japandi-inspired scheme. Warm neutral walls, a simple mirror and a carefully chosen tap allow the fluted front to remain a considered detail.

Oak-effect is a finish description

Oak-effect describes the appearance of the finish. The color, grain pattern and cabinet construction are separate parts of the specification, and we confirm them for your project. If you are coordinating with flooring, doors or other joinery, include reference photographs with your enquiry so we can discuss the finish direction together.

The fluted detail also belongs in the brief. Share an inspiration image and tell us whether you prefer a subtle rhythm or a more pronounced pattern. We will review the proposed detail alongside the cabinet dimensions and storage layout before confirming the design.

Pairing the vanity with our signature basin

Our signature integrated basin is made in sintered stone and planned together with the surrounding top. When specifying the vanity, distinguish the mould size from the overall countertop and cabinet dimensions. The mould describes the basin component; it does not set the full width of the furniture.

For example, a wider top may leave a useful surface beside a single bowl. A double-basin arrangement needs enough room for both moulds, the space between them and the surrounding countertop. Tap position, plumbing and the cabinet layout also need to be coordinated.

Seven standard basin mould sizes

The standard mould dimensions for our signature integrated sintered stone basin are listed below. All seven moulds are 5.91 in deep.

Standard basin mould dimensions (cm)
Width (cm)Front-to-back (cm)Depth (cm)
543415
583615
653715
703415
803415
903415
453015

These are mould dimensions, separate from the overall top and vanity dimensions. Send your preferred size with your brief so we can confirm the fit, layout and installation details. Our basin sizing guide explains how to consider the bowl and surrounding space together.

Plan the storage behind the fluting

The cabinet should work as well as it looks. Start with what you need to store, then consider the drawer or door arrangement alongside the basin waste and water connections. A calm front elevation is most useful when the storage behind it suits your daily routine.

For a wall-to-wall installation, include measurements at several points and photographs of the opening. For a freestanding position within the room layout, show the space beside the cabinet and any neighbouring fittings. Your installer can help verify the final site dimensions before the production drawing is approved.

How to brief your fluted oak-effect vanity

Start with your overall width and front-to-back dimension, then add your preferred basin mould size, a single or double layout, and any tap information you already have. Include an image of the fluting you like, your preferred oak-effect tone and the storage you need.

You can begin with the online configurator and describe the fluted oak-effect design in your enquiry. The final finish, fluted detail, dimensions, price and timing are confirmed in your project quotation and specification.
